Preventable diseases can have a significant impact on the health and well-being of Nebraska’s seniors.  The overall goal of the QIO work throughout the 9SOW is to improve the delivery of preventive healthcare services to optimize healthcare efficiencies and improve the quality of life for Medicare beneficiaries.

CIMRO of Nebraska partners with a select group of physician practices in Nebraska to utilize their Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to efficiently capture, track and generate data to ensure appropriate delivery of healthcare services.

CIMRO of Nebraska's work with physician offices focuses on the following:

•  Breast Cancer screening
•  Colorectal Cancer (CRC) screening
•  Influenza immunizations
•  Pneumococcal immunizations
