CIMRO
of Nebraska contracts with the Centers for Medicare &
Medicaid Services (CMS) to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of
healthcare services. CIMRO of Nebraska works with healthcare providers to improve the quality of care delivered to people with Medicare, including assisting physicians and staff in
hospitals, nursing homes, homecare agencies, managed care organizations and
physician offices to improve quality through the use of system and
process changes.
CIMRO of Nebraska began implementation of the 9th Scope of Work (9SOW) contract in August
2008. Efforts in the 9SOW are concentrated on assisting
facilities with the greatest opportunity for improvement on specific measures of
healthcare quality.
