Websites publish lists of updates—called "feeds"—that indicate when new content has been posted. When you subscribe to a feed, your feed reader starts monitoring that feed for updates.

2. How can I subscribe to feeds?

First you must have a feed reader.  Many feed readers are free online.  Once you have chosen a feed reader, simply cut and paste the feed URL into your reader.
