About Us Overview
CIMRO of Nebraska is the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for the state of Nebraska. Our mission is to ensure the quality, effectiveness, efficiency
and economy of healthcare services provided to Nebraska
Medicare beneficiaries. Our vision is to make healthcare in Nebraska
the nation's best.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) administers the QIO program across the country. Under contract with CMS, CIMRO of Nebraska works to promote
quality healthcare services, determine medical necessity of services
rendered and ensure professionally recognized standards of care are met
for services rendered.
CIMRO of Nebraska is led by a team of experienced professionals and an 11-member advisory board comprised of physicians; representatives from hospitals, nursing homes, and homecare agencies; and Medicare consumers. CIMRO of Nebraska works collaboratively with the provider community on a variety of levels and in settings across the healthcare continuum, including homecare agencies, nursing homes, physician offices, hospitals and various health plans.
Our affiliate,
CIMRO - Quality Healthcare Solutions, has more
than 35 years of medical management experience. That
expertise and those resources enhance the services provided
by CIMRO of Nebraska.
CIMRO of Nebraska considers ethics and compliance an integral part of our business decisions and services we provide to others. Our Code of Business Conduct
provides basis for
our everyday workplace behavior.
